To solve your perking needs
« on: August 01, 2000, 07:03:00 PM »
The perk thing is old, but t o solve all the b**chin, only perk one plane. The B-36H Peacemaker. This thing carries enough fuel and bombload to close every enemy base on the map, and it flies at 40,000+ feet. Only one will be available, and the top pilot is the only one who can fly it. Of course, we'd need a mile long runway like out here at Carswell to fly it out of, but who cares?

BTW, this is just a joke to lighten y'all up if yer having a bad day, so I don't want any "Go get a life" stuff

Due to the B-36's craptacular landing gear, you'd have to take off from Edwards or the base in San Antonio (At least I think, may be  Dallas) that had the only runways strong enough to support it's 2 main wheels. But no problem, it's an intercontinental bomber and flying to the wonderful world of AH would be no problem

Jig - only two of them (XB-36 and YB-36) had two main wheels.  The rest of them had the bogies and could land on a lot of fields.

P.S.  That pic is an RB-36.

A B-36A or B (no jet pods) might be more fair for the Luftwaffles.
