I need hepl mreaking a field i already have and i cant seem to get my terrian editor toi work if anyone can help plz put up a reply.:)

i ran into him last night in h2h. think it's the first time he tried using the TE. told him try reading the help file and ask questions here. think he just wanted to build a terrain w/o the editor crashing. it does happen a little too easily.:rolleyes:

When the editor crashes on me, there are 2 things I say.

Firstly, "Oh ****, when was the last time I saved?"

And secondly, "Guess I get what I pay for"

i haven't even tried it in months.spent 3 weeks working on an awsome version of pearl harbor.one day did every thing i needed to finish it and bam, cant even find it now. too many hairs got pulled and i gave up:rolleyes:

It would really be useful if there were a feature in the terrain editor where you could automatically level the terrain under an object/group that you'd placed, instead of having to check the vertices around it, set the 'set to' alt, and adjust the heights manually each time.
