Ouaibe I feel your pain. Try this..
• Don't be so touchy feely
• Grow a thicker skin
• Stay off the OT boards unless discussing balooning..
• Mute channel one, or hook up with Shane, he'll protect ya.
• Realize that your not responsible for your goverments decisions.
• Don't be so touchy feely
• FOGITABOTIT !!
• Move to Germany... well, on second thought..
• Move to ahh...England, yea England with toodles and all that..
• Ah well jeez, just move...somewhere..South ??
• Make it a point to drink cheap beer and swear..
• Learn how to spit
• Get good at it
• Litter. Car parts, washers, dryers..
• When you drive, run people off the road.
• If you get honked at, ram the car and get out of yours running at the other driver speaking in "tongues".
• Begin screaming at the top of your lungs for no reason while shopping at the local store.
• Eat food that gives you gas...and share
• Find an English guy and beat him up..
• Find a German guy whose hair is pink and discuss politics..
• Find a Swede and while making idle chatter look for his lady..
• Blow your nose in my general direction
• Fart in an empty elevator and send it to the lobby.
All these things will help you in this game we play. If in time of need, remember the unforgetable words of GI Joe...

When he uttered..

I don't see why anyone should have to put up with others being deliberately insulting or in-yer-face unpleasantly"-ist", IYSWIM.  Certainly, there's a lot of grey area between friendly jibing and intended hurts, but frankly, I feel that those who think the answer is to tell those on the receiving end of the bad stuff that it is THEY who have to change their behaviour are missing the point.  And being bloody foolish, to boot,

Aye, human nature. Been there, seen lots of it, got the T-shirt. So it's time for the bad'uns to be told in no uncertain terms to STFU and bugger off, so that those who aren't socially delinquent don't have to put up with their continual idiocies.

What you're advocating, Poopster and others, is to cut the cancer out of the patient, and throw the patient away, keeping the cancer.   That cannot be the ultimate answer.  Given everyone is here to try to have fun, why should it be the ones that are DELIBERATELY trying to upset others that are left alone, whilst their victims are basically told to grin and bear it or go? Would youcondone virus creators and spammers, and tell the rest of us to just stop using the internet? Of course you wouldn't, unless you're an idiot or a Luddite.  Same principle here.

Aye, I know the difficulties with "policing" any online community, but perhaps it's about time someone somewhere started thinking about better ways to create online communities such that miscreants CAN be more effectively ejected.

Glad to see nothing has changed 'round here.  Glad am in ww2ol where only subscribers can use the boards and where they make it so figgin difficult that it isn't worth the effort to figure out where the hell to post a good insulting flame.

I want to thank the community for the current changes. I'm a telecommuter, and the O'Club used to be a major time killer when I was looking to procrastinate. No longer a problem. In fact, it takes some effort to motivate myself to hit the link.

The last 6 months have also made squelch 1 a permanent feature in my gameplay.

It's funny how "attitude" has become so acceptable and manners some form of "political correctness." I guess my mother just raised me different.
