Ok i could have done an doom post with the sky is falling and everything but i really hope that the 'other' board members dont have much to influence on the 'game play matters'

I´m glad for HTC that they got the extra cash now, dont know what they will do with it tough, HT wont recruit more programmer as it 'would only slow things down' right HT?

"dont know what they will do with it tough"

Well maybe they can all eat now   , joke .

But this sim we fly is very hard as we all know , lots come with expectations that soon come to earth . Then they leave , and their money with them

If they don't make money we soon won't have this game to fly . My hopes ? They find the silver bullet for us both , gamers and the owners .

cheers spro

I wonder why HTC never offered shares to the players? I guess they can't bear the thought of "D-9 into AH" mafia at the next AGM  .

SEC restricions on IPO's I think.

It's not a change in plans, for this has been part of the business plan.  It's just that that part of the plan has been finished now.  We've had outside investors in this company from the beginning, but HT is the majority owner.

I would think it would be impossible for HTC to operate without outside investors, and still be able to offer a quality product. I am glad to see as well that Hitech is keeping control of "the stick" so to speak

This is incredibly good news for the player community.  HiTech shouldn't be writing code and worrying about paying the bills simultaneously.  It provides needed breathing room for HTC to be patient in development and design, plus a solid chance to gain a critical mass of players to sustain their incubator stage well into 2001.  Personally, I'm delighted for Hitech and crew.
