Hey don't feel bad Rip...Williams-BMW F1 driver Juan Montoya lost his license a couple of days ago for doing 204kph (126mph) in a 130kph (80mph) zone!
BTW, went to the BMW "Drive for the Cure" thing here locally and drove the 760Li as well as a couple of other Bimmers. WOW! The 760Li was way better than I expected for a whale. That thing will scoot and handles pretty well given its supertanker size. The electronic toys were pretty annoying though. It must have an owners manual the size of a dictionary...I wonder if there is an "iDRIVE for Dummies" available. LOL The next day I saw in the paper where some Finance Minister somewhere in the world was trapped in his car for a while because the on-board computer died, which controlled the door locks. My first thought was of the 7-series and sure enough it was a Bimmer...iDRIVE strikes back!
