America's Army is good. So is Ghost Recon.

If you have a PS2, I'd get Splinter Cell and SOCOM. I didn't particularly care for BF1942.

Planetside and Neocron are good if you like MMORPGs.

raven and ghost recon both great games,,i heard that about battlefield1942,,,not very realistic,,but very fun!!

it is incredibly fun...spent all of 3 minutes in the demo before i wanted to buy the full (still havent tho)

americas army isnt to hard to learn...and since if you die you have to wait for another round before you can play again (up to 8 minutes!!!) you learn to get good...FAST

I play Raven Shield/Ghost Recon almost as much as Aces High. Here's my squad site:

I like the way OFP sounds, so I'll definitly pick that up this weekend, Thanks Funked, just what I need, another addiction.

I'm not sure how my dad would feel about any game based in Vietnam, He was in Da-Nang right after Tet, and even though he was AF, he was attached to Army unit, so went to some really weird places.

I like the idea around Splinter Cell but everything I've seen its a 3rd person game and I just cant get in to those as well. I did play Jedi Knight but I cant stand Tomb Raider. The perspective doesnt work for me.

banana- RTCW is Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Think Medal of Honor meets Doom. Mix between WW2 warfare and monster hunting. The run through the catcombs is pretty good, play it with the lights out.

But whats RTCW- TW? i havent seen that yet.

LOL Eagler, I had that game, 1975 or 76?

On-line play for me is a last place consideration for these games, there fun for awhile but then its just a bunch of people running around and fragging each other
