speeking for me i HATE THE TREES SO BAD you cant land on a flat spot with goons anymore to wait for clear base or have a easy takeoff in a b17 when your afk getting a diet coke real fast or land a goons 1k away from base becouse of the stinkin TREES!i have also found that is you hit in a gv one of those relly little pinelooking trees with a rock beside it you die if your going fast enof if not it knocks you back!i dont care if that would happen in real life it is just a game and i dont think you sould go !BOOOM when you hit a tree!!!...i also think the gv sould already be started when you spown in them becouse some "studmuffin" will be sitting there with his panzer pointed right at spawn point waiting for you to pop up but if they were started you could aleast move a little bit to counter act and why dont you see gv until they are like 1.5ks away??? somtimes its hard to find the other panzer that is shootin at you!!!

I like the trees, they should be made fully 3d though

c47s arent suppose to land in enemy territory anyways

yeh they are if your droping off goons it is easier sometimes just to land then drop

I work for the TreeFree organization which works hard to make paper products not from trees. I think we can make AH TreeFree one day, just have some hope in the big corporations like HTC.

Eh? Are you saying that a featureless, treeless terrain is a good thing? Or are you saying that trees shouldn't cause damage to you when ya smack into them? Kinda weird.

...hop in your car....now start down a road, any road will do but preferably one with trees on either side. Get up to about 45mph and then turn straight for a tree and let me know what happens.

my vote: keep trees but make dense tree formations in otherwise sparsly populated fields........OH apparently theres a name for them too...its 'A FOREST'

make it possible to pick a landing spot in a grid?
maybe make trees break a wing off, then anyone ditching wont mind and will probably enjoy a bit of crashing and anyone landing c47s will have to use its shortest landing to do it without losing a wing.

If u keep yer eyes open.. there are places where you can land and takeoff again in a goon amongst the trees. In the Mindanao terrain its hard to find flat terrain anywhere but the coast, so errrm thats the best place to look +)

I have safely landed 3 C47's between trees (it's slow & if you use the rudder you can avoid them).

Haven't got it working for the "taking off" part yet, but am working on it

Seriously tho, what do the trees add to the game? It's not as if there are enough of em for GVs to hide in.

So far all the trees have done for me is add a nail to my FPS coffin.

BTW I work for a papermill, and we take trees then convert em to grocery bags.
