You know, Im my old flight sim (AW) They would design a feature that wouldnt be quite right.  They would end up disabling the feature, once they realised it didnt work, rather than fixing it.

But I have found with AH that is not thier approach. They design a feature, and If they find problems or see a better way to do it, The fix the problem.

If you brush a leaf, it certainly shouldnt mean instant death.  The trees now dont provide any cover.  If you crash into one at 100knts dead center, You probably will wreck your A/C

Given time, I have a feeling we will see improvments with the trees.  Its just a new feature that needs the wrinkles worked out.

Trees are fine, just make forests.

They should also be able to be TAKEN OUT.

It is actually not so hard to hide behind trees when one; seldom >1, plane comes down on you.
The faster the GV, the more trees pass by in a given time length, so shielding oneself with a tree is much easier in M8 (the fnuctional one, not the present one) than Pz.

Actually have had a few planes (mostly spits for some reason!) clip into the tree in question or one next to it.

It would be very nice if HT takes trees from IL-2 and modify them so they wouldn't look like pancakes at low alt. Make forests too. Let GV drive thrue forests and make forest damagebile (sp?)

i like your idia russian if gv could drive thru farest but when you hit a tree you dont die but you could see thought them if you were flying from above but you could shoot trees to see in!

Trees are OK, but som open fields somewhere would be nice, it's pretty hard to ditch a damaged airplane and not having any open fields to choose from just a trees all over the map.
