For those of you in the SF Bay Area, you might like to know that The Collings Foundation is flying in a B-17 and a B-24 into Moffett Field (Mountain View) (5/15) . Both will be available for viewing and tours until Monday (5/19), for a nominal $8 donation.
They WILL be providing 30-minute rides in these planes to people willing to make a $400 donation.
The Collings Foundation flies these planes all over the country, and should end up in a place near you at some point during the year.
