STICK SCALING - can't believe AH won't remember settings by plane type

made this same post about 3 months ago. Seems an obvious, no brainer, and talk about EASY to IMPLEMENT    Gettign real tired of messing with stick scaling sliders every time I change aircraft

i think the idea is for each plane to fly differently

i fly all the planes w one stick scaling on a worn out sidewinder and they fly fine

       see.... I think you have flight model confused with stick scaling. MOST of us like different control imput levels for different aircraft.... Like P51 vs Spit....

I wouldn't mind bad of stick scaling per plane either..

Try to fly Me109 and Spitfire with same stick scaling.. either has lack of control input in 109 or too sensitive controls for spitfrie

I've had the chance to poke around the cockpit of a few WW2 fighters and I don't recall seeing any stick adjustments in there.

Yeah, Funk, all the WW2 planes had "stick adjusters".

Basically, the apparatus started right below the shoulder of the pilot, extending pretty much straight down to a flexible joint at the mid-point, continuing basically straight to another flexible joint and ending in 5 stalk-like, flexible "graspers" (if you will).

I think every side used them, too. They were all done to the same basic engineering spec as well.

Oh yeah I forgot that there was usually a stick adjuster on the Mk. I Yoke Actuator.  About a foot below the TLAR bomb aiming device.

I am with Citabria on this, I use a Pre Pro and the thing I like best about it, besides its extreme accuracy, is the fact that you never have to do a thing to it and it works everytime. I have NEVER calibrated it, its automatically self-calibrating, no pots to wear out and digital.

Oh and BTW, I think what Westy was refering to is your lack of social skills. It's something thats painfully obvious to anyone who has ever had any contact with you in the arena... a no brainer...really.
