I just wish the Luftwaffe would get their fair share of planes. We need more and better fighters!

Thrawn - the Mossie is made of wood. It's a fragile and agile attack plane.  :D

Hurris are the only plane that really get me worried now.  Why?  Because they kill very quickly and turn like the devil has their tail.  They usually get me in my Hellcat after I have gotten low and slow from slugging it out with another plane.  The other reason is that I do something stupid, like, I don't know, turn with them.  The kitty is a wonderufl plane, best in AH IMO, but that damn Hurri gives me fits.

Of course the other plane that gives me fits is the 202... go figure.  I just can't judge their energy state like I can the other planes (including the Niki from before its fix).  I think that is mainly from never really seeing it very much.

Oh well, just sharing my thoughts and am in NO WAY advoctating anything happen to the Hurri like perking it.  Just thought I would share with you all my thoughts (fears really) concerning the Hurricane.  If you fly it, more power to ya, takes balls to fly a slow plane in the MA.

Wood can be pretty strong. I dont think thats a justification for strength.  The Mossie was supposed to be a very strong airframe.  I cant say for sure how fragile it is in AH,  Iv only been shot down in one twice now, Once by the one and only Sir Loin of Beef and Once when I had to go AFK on Otto.  Im sure I will form an opinion on the damage model soon enough.  But The Mossie being weak because of being made of wood just isnt true.

Hey Math, the two main planes I fly now are the Hurri IIc and the Hellcat.  It's good that you're not underestimating the Hurricane.  Like all the slow planes, with alt, she can be fast for a little bit.   ;)  Actually, nothing scares me more than a Spit that's higher than me.  Sometimes you can take advantage of their poor high speed handling, but usually, a higher Spit is a deadly Spit.

The typical MA spit is nooo problem for the Hurri Dweeb.  Even the spitV has become so stuck in its ways, that it doesn't realize that it no longer holds a turning advantage over his enemy.  I CANNOT believe how many plieits try and turn with the HurriC, hell even Yeager tried in a 51B?!?!

The hurriC rolls lovely, as it should, it turns well too! but don't pull hi gee for too long.  The rudder can be used to aid in recovery, hell missing an aileron or an elevator the Hurri can outturn the majority of the the planeset.

Ahh yes and now to the real WOOD of the HurriIIC:   did ya see them barrells!! talk about propagatin the turbo laser myth!! +)
Many players mentioned that the Hurri's small ammo load of 90 rounds a gun would keep it's numbers down...  a 1 second burst can down any fighter in the MA.  Alotta the time I will only use 1 bank at a time, because when 5 red bastids are BnZ'n ya, ya don't wanna run out....

Anyways, those are my thots... back to u funked
