Hope all you want, the place isn't going to rebuild itself! :)

And the power of prayer is stronger than pessimism.

I expressed no form of pessimism.  I only present you with the facts, sir :)

Oct, their hope and faith will lead them to rebuild the church. Bet it's bigger and better next time too.

I'm essentially agnostic but I respect people of faith that truly believe and act and live upon those beliefs.

They're probably better folks than I will ever be.

It would be more ironic if a tornado destroyed an apocalyptic cult. Or maybe that would be less ironic.  In any case, that would be something.

Toad I'm sure thats exactly what will happen.

I'm not really looking for an argument...  I simply commented on that quote.  Hoping your lawn will be mowed wont get the yardwork done :)  Just a meaningless comment!

And I agree on the second part to a certain extent... I know people like that do exist, but they are few and far between.  My observations have led me to conclude that the majority just like to hear themselves only speak it.

When was the last time you saw anyone build a smaller crapier church?

I probably have a different outlook on God than most because I'm scientifically minded, almost to a fault.

I don't feel he has his hand in every little thing that goes on down here.

A church getting hit by a tornado an irony? Nah, just another building in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm more inclined to think that a church is comprised of it's members more than a building.

Although I will say that a tornado does seem to have an affinity for trailer parks.
