Special events are also posted on the BB calendar with links to the information about the event.

See the little "calendar" button at the top of this page.

salute swoop
I had looked threw the CAP forms before and found some good info. but It looked like the CAP was a squad only event so i quit looking.  I didnt know if i had to register or be in a squad or if i could walkon. i just did a search of the word  WALKON in the cap form and got 7 hit out of 1701 post.
and walkons are wellcome :) cool

There needs to be a easyer way for new players to get info on special events.

Flyboy, the current Friday SquadOp details are here and the Sunday SquadOp details are currently here until we can get them put onto the website.

Exile's simladder site is due to be taken down shortly, so we are in the process of moving everything to an alternative site until the new HTC server is ready.  I will keep everyone posted of when each of these moves will happen, but eventually information about all of our events will be all in one place on the new server.  :)

thanks flossy i saw that posting but this is not what i ment

im talking a bout a map and a detailed instructions for each side (maybe it should be posted on 2 locked forums for each side with his own objectives)?
allso information on how the scoring works for a player\squad basis and for each country (how you decide who wins?)

i hope im not too much of a trouble, im just new and i flew Alot of events in WB and they used to have most of this..

Detailed orders are written up by the Admin CM of whichever SquadOp you are referring too - Daddog for the current Friday SquadOp, or Grayarea for the upcoming Sunday SquadOp - and sent to each Side CO about a week before each frame.  The Side COs then plan who will do what and send out their orders to each Squad CO to send on to their members.  Any maps would be included in them.  It has to be done by email, as closed forums would be too much work for Skuzzy.  Closed forums need to have individual names added for access, and with the constant side changing between different SOs, Skuzzy would be continually having to add and delete whole squads of players' names.  Plus there would probably have to be two lots of closed forums, one for Friday and one for Sunday.

This information is usually given in the writeup by the Admin CM, so would be part of the sites I pointed to earlier.

Not at all.  I hope once we get our new Events Server, information like this will be more accessible.  I hope you enjoy our events as much as you obviously did the WB ones.  I came from AW myself, so am not familiar with them.  ;)

about the forums
what we used to have in WB is you just have a password for each forum and each side CO is responsible to give it to the squads (you change the password every event)

it is very very usefull because then the entire side can "join minds" and help with the planning
i think the forum system is the same as we use here so it shouldnt be a problem
just a suggestion since it workes very well there:)
