Yeah, Im one of those "cool nerds" too.

Im blessed with striking good looks, a GQ physique, a large noodle, and athletic ability.

Fourtunately for me, my status of "Star Wars Freak" and the time I spend shooting down virtual aircraft and blasting Nazi's while capping flags offsets some of that.

Take pride in your nerd-dom I say! I just cant associate with people that dont like Star Wars and WWII aviation anyway... they're boring.

Well, they are certainly bigger. A 6'5" guy is a big deal in hockey. And yes, the strongest basketball players are also stronger than the strongest hockey players. Is there really some guy in the NHL that can bench more than Karl Malone or Shaq? They are also faster, at least as far as running is concerned.

Things like explosiveness, pain tolerance, and body control are more subjective.

I love hockey, but what I don't get is why team owners haven't figured out yet that they should hire the biggest, fattest sumo wrestler they can find and park his flubby bellybutton in front of the goal.

I' not good enough at that game to compete...I'll bring my tennis racket though...be fun to watch a sweaty bald man chase a ball from one corner of the court to the other. I'm sure you can handle it though...being a "BASKETBALL" player and all.
