Recent observation in Moscow subway.

Rush hour. The car is full. People simply ride, tired and bored. Some people read, some (sitting) sleep.

In a middle of the crowd stands a Chinese guy. Suddenly he breaks the silence and SNEEZES loudly several times!!!

The crowd immediately "connects" the Asian-looking man and a mysterious infection from overseas. People press each other and form a 2 meter space around the poor Chinese, frightened. Some aged women try to make their way through the crowd to the exit doors.

The Chinese looks around, takes a handkerchief, and says in a tired voice: "@#$%^&!!! I am Buryat, BURYAT, not Chinese!!!"

Buryat is a Northern Mongol nationality living in Siberia, East of Baikal lake. They are Buddhists. Look absolutely, 100% Asian, flat faces, yellow skin, narrow eyes.

Ever notice how most eastern block people (russian,cezh, romainian, etc.. areas) tend to have a slight Asian look to em? like look at the shape of the eyes.

I have absolutely no problems with any race/nationality.

Russia is a multinational/multiculture country. Seing an Asian in the street means that you can just come to him and ask him for directions for where to go. In Russian.

Hmm... I don't think I look even a little Asian...

But I am half Ukrainian, half Cossak. Most of the Russians have Asian blood. 300 years of Tatar "occupation" left the trace.
