Port and Torpedoes in AH2
« on: May 23, 2003, 04:34:48 AM »
at present,  in AH the  ports's importance is only that a fleet belong to it....

During all war time and in all teatre the ports's importance are to mouve troops, supply not only rearms-fleet....

How many missions, in real war, was lunched to sink merchant ships or war ships becouse the intelligence have told they are anchored there.Using bomber jabo , torpedoing with their relative escorts.

it would be nice add to the actual port Shape 3 anchored ships
2 merchant and only one destroyer.
comprising then The ports in the global supply working as Main town and Factory...

My purpose is that to add in new TOD a more realistic mission:

the port assault understood like damage it and sink all u find there....

Also in Tod this Extra may add some new Scenario's opportunity.

:p

Yes, yes YES!

Hard to conceive of at least two theatres--the Meditteranean and the pacific--not being impacted through supply interdiction, isn't it???  Wasn't the Africa Campaign called "the War of Supplies" or some such?

I would love to see amphibs, patrol and scout bombing for freighters and other craft.

OOOOOOOH!

When will we get the Ju52 so we can play "Palm Sunday Massacre"?
