I'm gonna wait to see who the opposition is before making my decision.  For instance, if McCain switched to a non-republican ticket, that'd be a real match.

Worse things could happen (e.g. Nader).  I'm gonna write in Nixon.
Mojo Nixon that is.

Hehe that presupposes Bush was elected the first time - a somewhat dodgy supposition, IMHO. :)

He won according to US election law.  :)

BTW all recounts by all methods, even by Al Gore's most bizzare selective democratic stronglod county only recounts, eventually always showed bush as the winner in florida.  And some newaspapers conducted independant recounts well into summer 2001 and still they all showed Bush won florida...

The supreme court merely ended Al Gores national emabarassment of demanding indefinite recounts....

I will vote for whoever holds the conservative ticket.

I cannot imagine ever voting for the liberal socialist racist class divisional anti american democratic party.

Lol. Sadly, it's true - as far as actual votes are concerned. Personally, because nobody tells truth all the time, nobody has my best interests at heart, and nobody knows what's right for the economy, nobody gets my vote every time. ;)

Let me revise my earlier statement.  I might actually vote the democratic ticket if the house and senate are still both republican majority.  I'm no fan of the current democratic party, don't get me wrong, but bad things happen when the same party controls both the legislative and executive branch.

My perfect government would be one where either the president is a democrat and congress is republican or where the president is republican and congress is democrat.

Why?

Simple.  New laws are less likely to be passed, more things will probably die in committee or get a veto (pocket or otherwise).  I'm pretty sure there are some things that can make life better, but more laws ain't the answer, so let's have some checks and balances so that government can be a little less 'productive'.

Since Bush became president life as we know it in America has come to an end.

Everything is so radically different, I can't honestly say that this is America anymore. I'm afraid and I want to follow McCartney on tour and live in Russia instead.

I went to buy gas today and the pump told me that unless I voted for Bush, I couldnt buy gas there.

I wish Gore would have stolen the election, then I would be in America as we know it again.

Al Gore would have prevented 911 and the economic problems 911 caused.
