Keep it the way it is.

Tie canope function to the damage code, If canopy is hit it could jam and you would be forced to ride it out.

Hit enter 3 times and get a message" HOST: Your canopy is jammed."

Well maybe for AHII.

There should be a chance that bailers get decapitated or have a limb removed by the tail assembly

Since bailing out still counts as a death (in the MA) regardless if you are successful or not and with no consideration for whether you are over friendly territory or not, why make it more difficult.  Except for an attempt at realism, bailing only effects perk points nothing more.

neah, it's just my tribute to Ernst Udet, without hoping to emulate his aerial skills.

You can bail out??? :)

It should be harder.  I hate it when something outside the text box gets selected and you keep hitting the enter button to send the message... then find yourself with no aircraft.

You've been gone to long from WB..or your getting old....or....both.

Your thinking IL-2, WB never had performance degradation and it still doesn't. It just gave you the shutdown sequence when it finally seized. Here it's just "off", there you get a shutdown sequence.

IL-2 you can get a great rod knock when it's gasping it's last.

I wanna see a historically (or technically) correct bail out sequence for the p38.  Would be fun to shoot the pilot as he climbed down the "fork" and all that other crazy stuff.  :)

First off adding the plane crashing to the ground isnt that big of a deal. Many games do it and this whole deal with the explosion and then nothing is bs to. If ur gonna improve a game u need to add realism and realistic bailouts are a must. As for the thing of bailing out successfully or not is also dumb. If u land in allied territory u should get ur kills cause thats what woulda happened in real life. Then again we could do what the brits did in ww1 which was dont give them chutes so they wont bail out of good planes.
