Gents and Ladies
Before I move on to this week's events, I would just like to say a few words following this week's departure from the CM Team of someone who I had begun to think of as something of a 'father-figure' in the team and who I have always respected and looked up to. He is, of course, daddog who, after 3 years in the CM Team, has decided to have a well-earned retirement from the team to enjoy being just an 'ordinary player' again. He will be sadly missed by myself and everyone else in the team.
Thanks, daddog, for accepting me into the team, and for my subsequent promotion (I think!
), and for all the help you have given me and others in the past. I am sure we will continue to see you in the Events, as well as the MA and CT, well into the future.

OK, on to the events, which start this week with Operation Dynamo, starting at 22:00 Eastern on Wednesday and hosted by Suave.
On Thursday at 15:00 Eastern (20:00 UK/21:00 CET), Camo will be hosting Pain in the Neck as the Euro Snapshot.
This Friday, being the break between Friday SquadOps, the KOTH for May takes place. This month, due to popular demand, we will actually be holding two KOTHs, with an earlier, Euro-friendly version at 16:00 Eastern/21:00 UK/22:00 CET, hosted by Seeker, as well as the usual version at 22:00 Eastern (03:00 UK/04:00 CET), hosted by BigMax. I hope the Euro KOTH proves to be as popular as the original one, without impacting too much on the numbers for the later one. Spread the word!
On Saturday May 31st at 17:30 Eastern (22:30 UK/23:30 CET), the CAP will recommence with a completely new format, which will hopefully return the event to its former popularity. Frame 19 is The Battle of Britain.....again, and will be using an updated version of the Norway terrain.
Sunday June 1st sees the return of the Sunday SquadOps, with Grayarea's Operation Husky at 15:00 Eastern/20:00 UK/21:00 CET, with Skyman as Host/Setup CM.
The Snapshots, KOTH and CAP are all walk on events, so everyone is welcome - just turn up, choose a side and play.
