What am I supposed to do when I'm diving straight down on somebody and they keep putting their nose straight up?
According to you I should have held fire.
Why?
The only thing that does is cause me to lose energy because you put yourself in a position relative to me that makes it taboo for me to shoot you. Meanwhile, your wingman in the La5 is climbing and gaining energy on me.
Your rules kinda make it so you win. Period.
Then you accuse me of needing ACM skills.
My attack method appeared to be alright, you couldn't hit me and I could get you. Or, you were holding fire while you held true to your own rules. If it was the first, then YOU need to rethink your ACM methods. If it was the second, then you lost because of your own rules.
After I shot you down, the La5 had equal or near equal energy to me. After a bit of manuevering, I shot him down from the rear quarter while he was in a turn. ACM.
My question is at the top, but I'll repeat it here:
What am I supposed to do when I'm diving straight down on somebody, I have to kill them fast, and they keep putting their nose straight up to force a head on?
