LePaul....

My point is this. There is a forum for bug reporting...you chose to throw your noise here in the general discussion forum.

Just get tired of pompous opinions placed where folks feel they make the most noise.

Yours was not a post in good spirit, but a whiny, self centered and childish, hey listen to me and how much I know kinda thing.

Whiner of the Week is simply my opinion of what I consider nonproductive whinin. Ya don't like it, don't read it in the future. And if HT decides I'm out of line, I'll respect that and keep my mouth shut.

I just hate to see a great program fall on its face...

You might just fit better in a different catagory and deserve a different award, but I choose not to go there with this.

Maybe you should read what you typed yourself. Looks like you're doing your part of pouring crap on this board.
Do you think you're any better than LePaul?

Kettle, hot, black

Who's pompous, again?

And further, I've seen less dignified posts on this BBS for ages, yet my response to someone elses gripe wins me this "award"?  So the gripes of others that have been in here all week are OK, but mine isn't?  Geesh.  I certainly hope others are *allowed* to voice their opinions with your careful scrutiny.

What part of this statement do you not understand?

The lucky winner of this distinction will recieve the recognition due them and without apology or sympathy on my part

Jeez Guys,

This whole thread reads like hundreds of others.

Pilot 1: Pilot 2 is a whiner

Pilot 2: No I'm not you are

Pilot 3: Na, its both of them who are whiners
etc.etc.

Guys its childish and non productive, when are we ever gonna stop this and start talking about stuff that actually matters.

Gremlin.

Gremlin! Quick! Delete your post before Rude spots your whine about his whining over LePaul's whine   :D

Boy this thread is funny to read while at work!....At home, I would choose another way to waste my time though (like being shot down by Nils...)

I think deSelys' second sentence summed it up for me.

Funny as hell, it's like watching two children fighting over who's Transformer is bigger.   :)

your transformer may be bigger, but mine is still better!  It turns into a bug AND a plane as well as the normal robot.   :p

as for the rest...  well, my mom taught me if you don't have anything constructive/nice to say, don't say anything at all.  What I said earlier was constructive, IMO.  I pointed out why some people (including the HTC staff) saw LP's post as a whine and inflammatory by offering an alternative that conveyed the same about of technical information.

Question for you all to ponder for yourselves.  Are you more receptive to issues surrounded by constructive criticism or issues surrounded by inflammatory remarks?  No need to answer here, just think about it.  I know you've all had instances of both, just think to how you've reacted to them.

Ok  :)
I hereby annoint Rude the KING OF WHINE WHINERS!!  There is no true distinction between the two, and since Rude has pretty much already made this a self-appointed position, and it truly is ok to INSULT people since how you KNOW your safe from bodily harm...no apologies  :)

...I just love how normal people manage to turn into complete dicks when they don't have to show thier face.  :)  Me included.
