Funny how fast the most popular arena became so much hated

Shall I remind the times when arena was reseted once per tour? When we had only 1 arena during MANY month?

Still I understand why people are borred. How about auto reset every 7 days if none of the countries won the war. Even more funny it will be if the message will be send: "Today at ##:## arena is reseted. Country which has more field at that moment will win the war".

I dont hate mindano either

but changes is nice specially when we have more maps to go on. I think people get frustrated over getting nowhere in base takings for the moment. just like when u get 3 or 4 bases log off back 4 hours later all lost, and so on.
As ive said earlyer mindano rocks grapical but need some improvments now since we have much more players than its designed for i think

It does seem to be harder to hit strat targets, but kills come just as quickly here as any other map.

I agree. Mindanao is rough...pretty, but rough. Its even harder for buffs to get out of some of the airstrips there, get alt and get TO target alive! Last night I was looking through the bombsight and saw a C47 waiting to re-up what I was planning on knocking down. Damn!

Its been a long, lingering death for the Knights all weekend. I know a lot of guys logged on, saw how awful the map looked, and logged out. Hell, I even installed Warbirds 3 for the first time....bleck!

Try something fun in the Main Arena...like all of us take on the Air Warrior guys, so they can yell HOW DO I BOMB to each other and leave us guys alone! hehehehe

But really, we need some more maps. Heck, try that pretty 2-sided Norway map from the Combat Theater for a few days. Yea, ain't furball friendly...those guys will actually have to carry more than 25% gas, but hey, let's experiment. Ideally I'd like to see the Beta Map on for a few nights....or that Phillipines one with the giant beer bottle in it.

back in Beta the map that had the Pizza & Beer was Great. Not only trying to capture another country, But trying to fend off another country from trying to capture the bases that Protected our Pizza & Beer. That was Great gameplay & Great times.

Bring back the Pizza & Beer.

My first week playing Aces High on that map, I ran out of gas and had to glide my B-17 in for a landing in that center area. I laughed my bellybutton off dodging snowmen! Nice map! REALLY neat high ground too, if I recall.

Mindano is a fine map for 200 players.However with all the new AH pilots it seems too crowded with 350.A possible solution to this would be to have two identical MA's with rotating maps.If you don't want to fly one you can go to the other.And if they are both the same,the lower numbers in each will make the maps more enjoyable.

I'm totally diggin' Mindanao. I see the difficulty of base capture as a feature, not a bug.

Besides, I get to shoot down lots o' buffs.

I like all the maps, of coarse i just like to kill chit. I can just kill more watermelon faster with Mindanao terrian.

Can you imagine the furballs we could have in the Beta terrian. 3 mountain ridges with a crap load o vallies to fight in. Man i miss that map. Had to be the most fun.
