The Okinawa map is built both CT and SEA. SEA's CM Aub and Tilt asked me to create there many Mannable/auto Ack Batteries around the main isle, because in historically there were 100 000 Japanese, Artillery, Acks and many Tanks digged in the ground especially in the south part of Okinawa Island.

Here's the Ack batteries locations (Three guns triangle: 1 x Mannable 37 mm, 1 x 30mm and 1 x 20 mm):

Batteries are owned by the nearest field and they are always close to Airbases or V-bases. They are also near the other base's GV's spawns. When Allied capture the "Mother Fields" the Ack Batteries follow them. Capturing fields from Okinawa Island helps Allied players situation there! :)

The five historically Airfields (Ie Shima, Yontan, Kadena, Machinato and Naha) have only 1/3 of their historical 88 mm Acks. Ack Batteries are located almost to the same places in this map where they were 60 years ago.

This map is 1:1 but the fields still are very near each other in the south part of Okinawa Island. That's why there is almost everywhere 88 mm explosion clouds in the south.

There are historical two big Carrier Fleets (C1 and C2 have 4 Carriers, 2 Cruisers and 9 Destroyers) and Two big Cruiser Fleets (C5 and C6 have 4 Cruisers and 9 Destroyers). As you can understand the Fleet's ack is HEAVY over them. Destroying Carriers and Cruisers helps Axis players situation! ;)

Here's the Shore Batteries locations:

The little "Reserve Airfields" on the isle's around and NE from Okinawa have about the same amount of acks than AH's default "Small Airfield". Reserve Airfields and V-bases don't have 88 mm Batteries.

The only place whear I have found the Flak to be a bit intense, is near the Biig 4 CV fleat, and once that is whittled down some, it is not realy a problem any more, simply sinking the Cruzer's will make the Flak it's normal eye candi self again.

The ack is not that bad for me personaly, but then again I have goten used to it placement wise, Kanttori did thin it out some so it's so bad as it was on the main island.

Even at 50kg's hardness it is prety easy to knock down the ack, espichaly for the allies who have rockets to throw at it and 1k bombs.

This is an intentional effect, the ack batries are hardened to represent the dug in nature of the Japanese emplacement's that often survived long exposhure to heavey bombing and Naval shelfire. In the game in the CT it is intended to help to counter the overwhealming Allied advantage in terms of ordance delevery, it was this enable osty's which I realy dident want to do.
I cant say it has been to much of a problem since the fields are being captured several times a day despite this.

Also at an ack setting of .7 (MA is 1.), you can survive generaly, several hits from ack before any apricable effect is realised.
