/perks are earned by killing foes. If you use older plane u get more pers per kill.

No you can't fix planes on rearm pad only refuel and arm.

rearm pads are checked pads on fileds with little hut

LOL!  Well, I have been known to be wrong a few times....  :o  I do remember us testing the radar height in Trinity a few weeks ago, which I think was the occasion rod367th was referring to.  Some good info here, anyway - well done.  :)

Ps  Rank means nothing in here except maybe for fighter rank. So ignore those who think rank means anything.

In tanks you can adjust ammo fo task your planning. Take HE to kill targets but take some ap for gvs. He works real well killing m3's m8's that are running fast just hit close.

always if possible aim for turret on tank or other vech. and if more than 1 gv in fight hit turret move to next gv then go back and give them kill shot.

Troops are in m3 or lvt2   gv's  or c47 plane. troops are dropped on map room in towns. when map has no towns at ports drop troops on map room near tower (white building) troops must be 500Ft or higher when dropped from c47 most like 800ft .  Gv's must be stopped.

Every building in town must be destoryed (except ammo bunker grey sq building would recommend you kill it until ur sure which is right building) Reason to leave ammo bunker up is , when you kill it it sends big black smoke into air, which in turn draws attention to town.

Great rule of thumb if you deliver gv supplies or field supplies, Go into hanger when your done and set your gv or c47 back to troops.  we all have forgot this 1 time or another and dropped supplies instead of troops.

Vehicle bases hanger doesn't need to be down, only ack needs to be down to get troops in.

BIG one  When you hear team mates say stop porking base, They are telling you not to kill targets at base( aka gas ammo hangers) what happens is guys pork base then its impossible to protect or continue attack onto next base.

Best suggestion to learn planes get with a pilot, and go into DA try to shoot him down, If you see me in arena I will go to Dueling arena let you get on 6 and show you some moves to evade attackers, see and 367th pilot if they not busy they will go and help u learn to fly.

Just a quick question : thought NOE was below 200?

Just to add, you can be at 10K or whatever, fly within 500ft of a mountain side, and still be NOE.:)

Another newbie tip; if you're going to be JABOing, make sure to click the "ATTACK" button in the hanger. Makes a big difference on how your sortie is scored. Make sure you switch back if you take the same plane again on a fighter mission.

good point akweav.

also u can take ju88 a20 ju87 as bomber or attack. Just so u know you can fly attack against planes and never fly as fighter if you wish. Any plane you kill in attack mode perks go to fighter perks.

If u see a goon (c47) and u have no ammo dont try to ram it to protect ur base from capture or u will be called a gamer..

If theres a spawn thats close enough to a bases town that troops will run from it dont take advantage of this or u will be called a gamer..

Dont listen to gamer-sayers.. They only want Aces High to be played 1 way and thats their way.. Enjoy the game however that may be and have respect for any other player regardless of the way they find joy in the game..

Dont worry about surviving every flight.. Learn the game 1st then everything else kind of falls into place..

Amen, brutha! Don't let the whine in the buffer be yer flight manual. :D

oh ... and ... some really good stuff in this thread.

re-map eject to something other than 'enter'.  I like 'alt-E'.  makes it tough to bail out accidentally when typing a lot in radio. ;)

Ask Shane to teach you the basics for 1 vs 1 in the DA. Will be the best investment of an hour of your time towards mastering ACM ever spent.

Great tips for anybody, not just newbies, thanks guys.  But....when a new player shows up, hasn't read anything about the game, declines to have a trainer then gripes the whole time because no one will show him how to use map, pick a plane, start an engine, take off etc...it's irritating.  I think most of us are willing to help, but there are limits on how much help you want to give someone who isn't willing to help themselves. I don't think we're being grumpy when we finally tell the guy to shut up.
