BLK1 from my AH Squadron is a Marine who is onboard the Constellation. He Emailed me tons of great pictures during the war, but I can't post them due to the new setup in here. :(

Pretty cool stuff...

Welcome him back when you see him flying in AH.

And this one we have all seen I'm sure... At sea aboard "USS Constellation, July 7, 1999 — An F/A-18 Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron One Five One (VFA-151) breaks the sound barrier in the skies over the Pacific Ocean, July 7, 1999. VFA-151 is currently deployed with USS Constellation (CV 64). "

She stopped over here and I caught a glimpse of her while I was heading down to the waterfront at work.  Didn't hear if they let anyone else aboard during her short stay, but if they did I regret not seeing her before her retirement.

I had the opportunity to visit the Bon Homme Richard (Bonny Dick) at Cubi Point in the Philippines when it was on it's way home for de-commissioning. I think it was one of the last of the old style flat tops.

Any reason for its retirement?  I recall the Enterprise had a huge upgrade not too long ago.
