When are you going to die then?

if thats your platform for election to King of the World, I'll vote for you.

we can only partially simulate some of the amazing and complex functions of the various organs. if it weren't for hemodialysis simulating the function of the kidney, I'd be a corpse, two years cold. its not perfect by any means but it keeps me alive and relatively healthy. As much as I get 'oh woe is me' sometimes, I feel for guys that need Livers.. Liver guys don't have a machine to help them, their race against time is measured in months not years.

in the US there are 80,000 people on 'the List'.. 16 of us die each day waiting.

(sorry all for the massive thread hijack!)

November 2026,  age 66, so not long left.

Think I'll take out a 25 year mortgage with insurance. LOL

The spooky thing is that my Father died aged 66. So that's it then.

hehe swoop,

its interesting how I find morbid things interesting and how sick and twisted my sense of humor is now.  nothing like facing one's mortality to put things in perspective!

btw my blood type is O-

which means I can take tissue from anyone with O blood

Hawk,

Two things,

One, if my blood type matches, and I can pass the physical I will definitely consider it.

Two, Does your insurance take care of all costs including any possible complications?

My email is: dgreen4@triad.rr.com

On a sad note, my brother passed away in February late at night on his couch, at 26, he was a registered donor, I know he had O blood too.  Sadly, his roomate did not find him until late the next morning, thus not enabling him to be a donor.  I know he would have wanted his organs to help too.

Email me.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

My mother in law and my sister in law took the test today. My sister in law will live until Jan. 21, 2015 and will be crushed to death when a house falls on her head. My mother in law will live for another 200 years and will die from a wooden stake through her heart.
