The three Bs.

Beaufighter  (we all know what this one is)

Boomerang  (Aussie fighter made by CAC)

Buffalo. (Brewster's beer barrel with wings)

Add to that a B-25, prefferably a H model.

P-400 and P39  A 20mm early model for USA in Pacific and a later model with 37mm cannon for the Russians.

B-239 Bufflo for the Finns!

Ki84 - 2 20mm and 2 12.7mm model - looks better than ugly niki!

Lagg3 used for most of the war!

Yak1 or Yak9 early or Yak7 with 20mm and 1 or 2 12.7mm Mg.

P38 early for Pacific theater.

Rudels Ju87G with 37mm cannon and that high performance AP ammo!

1. Ki-43
     2. Ki-84 (just to shut all of you, who whine for it, up.)
     3. I-16
     4. Pe-2
     5. Sm-79
     6. Fiat G-55
     7. Brewster F2A3

The Ki's cause everyone is bawling to have these added. I-16, a nice early Russian fighter.  Pe-2, will give the Russians a much needed tactical bomber, and the Sm-79 will also do this for the Italians.

The Fiat G-55 well this was a compromise for me.  I wanted the French Dewtone D-520, but then that would nesesitate the addition of the Hawk 75,  Ms-406, and Peugot(SP)605(I think, not sure if i got the model right but that twin engine French tactical  bomber).  Let's not open that can of worms, so I went for fleshing out the Italian planeset with an excelent fighter.

Brewster, This little piece of crap held the line in so many theaters that it deserves to be added.  Look where it served; Burma with the Brittish, Finland with the Finnish, and Midway with the Midwadians;)

I cant believe no one listed A-26 Invader!!

Actually, the A-26 was poorly received by the 13th Bomb Squadron who tested it for the AAF. The commanding officer of the 13th had a list of 32 items they wanted changed before they thought it would replace the A-20 or the B-25. The commanding officer even went to the Pentagon and told Hap Arnold personally why it wasn't ready to replace those aforementioned planes.
Among the problems was that the A-26 didn't have good side and downward views which were essential for extreme low level bombing missions that the 13th BS had been doing over New Guinea and Rabaul.
The A-26 did carry twice the bomb load of the A-20 and was "slightly" faster, but really didn't come into its own until the Korean War.

It would have to be an early production model of the J series.  IIRC, the later J series had the same features as the L model, including hydrolic assisted flight controls, etc.

I would eventually like to see the P-38 in AH a little more fleshed out with additional models like the D, F, and H.  Maybe even the G as well.
