As of Skuzzy's post. (I will update as more #s come in.)

Thanks all for posting your specs!!!

If you posted more than 1 system, I only used your highest speed. (available power)

The average speed so far is 810 Mhz.

Here is a chart of the Processor Types and Speed.

Let me know if you need explinations.

Great job bud, looks good.

No wonder people are always complaining about FPS, look at all the Intel's   :D
hehe

Kinda intresting to see all the "low end" (below average speeds) chips are for the most part intel and the high end CPU's are mostly AMD.

Kinda shows ya where the consumer market goes for proformance, or it could be the fact that they are 1/3 the cost.

Having watch the FPS postings here, I don't think the AMD is leading the High End Quantity because of price alone.
Most of the P4 folks seem to have poor performance when compared to T-Birds of the same speed.

The numbers game.

it just goes to show that rated speed for a processor isn't the end-all... there are many other factors involved.

(Do note the "or" in my original post  :) )

"Same speed" is a over statement, the 1.4ghz Tbird can contend with the 1.8-2ghz P4 and in some cases come out on top.

Have you checked out what AMD is doing for the next line of CPUs? they are no longer rating them buy there clock cycle speed.. This is because they understand that the clock speed isnt so effective at these high speeds, they have made a intirely new chip that istn depending on clock cycles, its a new technoligy.

ADM is deffinatly on the edge of technoligy, its just a shame they cant sell there name to the mass consumers like Intel. Although they have the "techie" market and i think that is a great place to start.

*punt*

I think that list is longer now.  Do you have time to update the chart?

I only put down my main puter, but in reality:

Main system AMD 1.33 t-bird

Backup for when I'm rendering someting monsterous for a day or two.  AMD 600 Athlon

Last resort, God help me, mommy make my computer come back system.  AMD K6-2 300    No it wont play AH worth crap....but it does have a lan card for the internet fix if the main system is rendering and the wife is playing Ceasar III or Pharoh on the backup.

I'm not even gona talk about the fact I have a working DX-2 66 and P120+ in the garage.
