To aleviate nose bounce, have a nice "fat" curve in the pitch. To do this set the first few sliders not far off the bottom and build them up to 100%. Look to get a smooth but even curve. (I havn't a clue how to post a screenshot of my settings!:o )
I only have my Roll set fairly flat. I would never have all the sliders at the top as this makes the plane very twitchy. Damper can help, but I would set dead band to zero unless you have a lot of centre play in your stick.
Other people will have different ideas. Also remember some planes (Yak9 ) are much twitchier than others.
Took me ages to get it right. Lephturn had a nice link to the subject "Rocket's joystick settings tutorial" but I see it is dead. Come to think, havn't seen Lephturn around for a while?
