AH Hacks - a hard question to ask?
« on: June 04, 2003, 12:35:05 PM »
Have there ever been people discovered to have hacked AH flight models, or who have done other cheats.  I don't know how to do that stuff and don't really like the idea of cheats and exploits in a combat flight sim, but I am cuious to know if there is a history here.

And no, I don't blame getting kilt all the time on the other guy having a hack.. I just suck really bad.
That aiming while moving thing is hard ya know!

:D :) ;)

Do a BBS search of General Discussion.

Tried, and got some wierd nothingness.
Maybe they don't want people ot be able to discuss hacks.
I could see their point.

They are there... most probably occured duing the search void that was created after an upgrade/rebuild to the BBS.

There's really only been one proven hack.  The problem is, whenever it comes up, everyone gets into the hacker name slinging contest.

Do a manual search if you have to.  Just look for the locked threads.

There's really nothing new to discuss on it.

The only incident known to the community was someone figured out how to have unlimited bombs a couple years ago.

HTC has zero tolerance for hacks, which is the way it must be.

One things certain, if you're called a hack by someone, its an honor, IMO. ;)

We put forth an enormous amount of energy to prevent hacking of the game and just as much energy into the discussions of hacking as well.
Anyone caught hacking is banned for life.
