You have to replace the Honda timing belt according to the maintenance schedule.  It is a wear item and it will fail eventually, and the pistons will do bad things to your valve train.  They are highly stressed motors.  100 hp / liter is not easy to achieve in such a lightweight, tractable, and low emissions package.  But if you take care of them they will last.  I've never heard of a timing belt failure on a Honda which was not caused by PM negligence.

Here's a link to a site with fast cars some of you may like. Some very irresponsible driving. Tut Tut I don't approve:rolleyes:

There are some big downloads so watch out. My favourite is the Pikes Peak hillclimb. Some need passwords for some reason. Also take a look at the gumball and mischief videos. Also the city race mpg in what looks like Germany.

I have an RSX-S, great car, fun to drive. 9 out of 10 Fuzzys agree: wrist pins in dunk tank are bad, pistons that look like little baked potatos are even worse.

Saw a very similar trail behind the parents Mercury Lynx HO back when I was about 17....

Only it was the transaxle I blew...

Watched it fail again about 2 years later as mum shifted down to pull into the driveway...

Glad I won't have any kids driving my cars (not that I have any cars or kids yet) for a looong time.
