I think he wants us to all fly early-war planes for a while.  Not a bad idea, if we don't have to worry about the late war planes as much.  Compared to a hurri one, for example, a spit nine IS an uberplane.  I say, why not?

ack ack... if you can't fly these late war planes to their advantage then I guess for you.... they aren't anything special.   Many players can fly em to their advantage and many players just think they can.... either way....

seeing even more late war planes in the arena is a lessened area.   Unless of course you use them in the manner that leviathn describes.

For the same reason someone else want so to unperk some now perked planes: To see different aircraft beeing used in the arena than now.

This can be archived in two ways: Either increase the performance of unperked planes, or decrease it. The cheapest unperked ones will get the most usage.

Today those on the list aren't anything special - because they're used >90% of the time.

All the planes work just fine, its the #'s that really cause the issues. If your facing waves inbounds your going to eventually get toasted. If your on the side with the #'s any planeworks just fine. I flew a couple hops in the P40(E) and its just fine...until you get overwelmed with threats. Obviously that elite 5-10% will make a garbage scow dance and somehow bring home a hand full of scalps...but for the rest of us what you fly is less important than who (and how many) you run into.

this is exactly what im talking about.Im bored with fighting spit9s and la7s I dont know about the rest of you and I for one would try ANYTHING to have a few different fights.

Im not asking for jets to be unperked for one thing and for another how is la7s,N1Ks and spit9's we are seeing ENDLESSLY now and for years any worse than a SINGLE tour of temps spit14's and f4u-4's being the most common.

I want to see some DIFFERENT fights. Im sick and tired of tnb with spits and niks and speed races with la7s.Its the same engagements OVER AND OVER and over and over .......

Now this means either perking more aircraft, something everyone seems to moan about or unperking some.
Seems to me its the same kind of people who claim perking sucks and doesnt work that argued perking the F4u-c would ruin AH. Complete nonsense, If they hadnt done it I for one was on the verge of quiting through boredom.Something which im getting again hense the request.Im not about to leave as hopefully AH2 is close but if it wasnt for that i think i'd have left AH about 2 months ago.

1 tour of the perk planes would break the endless cycle of the same old fights.I dont need some discussion on the merrits of perking or whatever , its been rehashed a thousand times, all i wanted was a yay or nay from some of you to see if you would also feel like a change.

to be honest laz id like to see less late war stuff by using same perking method we used on F4uc but rather than try for that yet again i just wanted a 'quick fix' change for a month.remember I did state only for 1 tour.

you would get much more variety for your buck if you just perked pee51d's... dee 9's  G10's and la7's and typhies for a tour... make em about oh... 60 perks each.
