just my thoughts....

hahah invade a planet that is 70% water -and do it naked, without wearing a protective suit. This lack of logic ruined the whole movie for me.

Hey Saur, my wife's uncle is a doctor in Doylestown.  Was there over New Year's.  My wife actually taught classes at the college the movie was filmed at.

The Ring wasnt all that scary until the plot twist at the end.  I covered the TV up with a blanket for the night after seeing that movie.:o

Skuzzy:

I've seen "About Schmidt" and I think lazs has crossed the line on this one.  I'd just about forgotten but now...  I think I have to go back into therapy.  Please bannish lazs for at least a month over this.

What's bad is when you just return from the theaters, having seen The Ring, and the answering machine is beeping at you and there's a non-descript black VHS tape sticking out of the VCR.

I walked in the room hit delete on the machine, chucked the video tape across the room, unplugged the TV and turned it around before going to bed. :D

Great movie.

Loved the characters.

Liked the "Night of the Living Dead" style of the movie.

Now I'll have to rent "About Schmidt".

I really liked 'Signs'.  Mostly because EVERYTHING in the movie was just a little 'off key'.  Too hard to explain that here but it had an effect on me.
Also, the movie, like many, was a Fable, not a documentary.  Don't get too hung up on 'facts'.
