I am getting ready to buy a new video card.  I just got a new HP Computer, 2.4 Ghz processor and 512 ram.  The graphix card that came with system is not cutting it.  I average about 24 fps, can go down to low teens in furball over smoking base, hate playing in the strobe light.

The card I am looking at is the Gainward Ti4800SE, or the Gainward Ti4600 agp.

Has anyone had any problems with gainward products?

For that price you can get an Radeon 9700 or a 9600pro both of which will outperform any Nvidia card in the same price range
