Most players that would be worth beeing recruited are already in their respective squads for a long time. And thats even true for those not worth recruiting. So all you'd be able to recruit without anyone knowing you will be other noobs ;)

Save yourself some greif and start a different historical P51 squad, there is plenty to chose from. I know for a fact the following historical groups are already in AH even though some of them might not be that active.

4th FG
31st FG
352nd FG
332nd FG
339th FG
56th FG
325th FG

That leaves quite a few left to choose from.

And the 332 Vikings, yes you do have something about the Tuskegee Airmen I give you that much, but reading the history of the 332nd Squadron it was a Norwegian Squadron flying Spits and Hawkers.  How dare you say you losely represent the Tuskegee Airmen, when in fact you dont!  Just because you have a 332 in front doesnt make you losely tied with the Tuskegee Airmen.  I have 5 web sites that have been up and running as the 332nd Fighter Group Tuskegee Airmen for the last 3 years.  http://www.geocities.com/dulknife   that was the HQ,  http://www.geocities.com/ah_rt_dulknife   that was the 99th FS.  http://www.geocities.com/lakota_320  that was 100th FS.  http://www.geocities.com/lakota_521  that was the 301st FS  and this is the 302nd FS.  http://www.geocities.com/lakota_520  So Plz dont tell me you are losely connected to the Tuskegee Airmen.  Even through the 99th, 100th and the 302nd FS are not being use now dordmmt mean it wasnt full at one time. We have been in CFS for 3yrs. and when we moved to CFS3 many didnt want to go.  You may get mad and tell every one not to join me and the 332nd Fighter Group Tuskegee Redtails, thats fine, but dont say you are losely connected to the Tuskegee Airmen when you arent.   I am staying and will go on and build the 332nd FG Tuskegee Redtails here in AH, if you like it or not. Thank You   332_CO_LAKOTA

If the guy wants to start this squad then I say let him start the squad. If the redtails were here when I join AH I would have wanted to join. I agree with the point that he should join the game before trying to start a squad.

shame on the harsh language to a good group of guys, it is a game and all things can be done nicely, with out the harsh tones. Reflects upon squad that is being formed before it starts in some eyes......... Dont Discrace a group you are trying to rep in a game as a vet it would not look good

The 332nd (and 334th) were RNoAF squads flying for the UK. They have nothing to do with the US 332nd.

The 332nd Flying Mongrels (Mongrels being fantasy creatures in a popular show for kids) are the modern RNoAF squadron name. So we got two 332nd squads, both actually being the same historical squadron in different times.

As C.O. of the 332nd Flying Mongrels, a squad that has been around since 1997 I really don’t care what you call your squad. Though some of my squadies don’t feel as I do and would appreciate you choosing another name. You obviously don’t care what other players wishes or that of my squad mates. You will do what you want.

You know nothing of our history. You have no idea how many of us are African American and enjoy having that loosely expressed relationship with the Tuskegee Airman, irregardless whether it is stated or not. Nor do you care enough or respect others enough to ask where and why we choose that name. Go on though, continue being ignorant and say what you want. I really don’t care.
Bottom line is I hope your able to pull your squad over here and come to enjoy Aces High as much as we do, no matter what you call yourself.

One more little general on his way to adulthood, eh ?

Shame on you Lakota !

With the attitude like that, forming a squad in AH may become a bit difficult . There's lots of grown ups here, and some of them even think with their own brain.
Take it easy, that's the way to go.

Cheers
