Hallo HTC,

why dont you open a new forum which is called 'Trainers'?

All the experienced guys who wants to help the newbies could introduces themselfes and their special kind of help they have to offer.

And whenever a newbie enters the game, there should pop up a window which refers to that forum.

That could be very helpfull.

Isn't that the purpose of the Help/Training forum?

ack-ack,

it should be, but it isnt.

Here in the forum, i never saw any summing of all AH-trainers with a short describtion of their special skills and what they have to offer.

And lots of newbies enter the game without beeing in the forum at any times.
For those ,there should pop up a MOTD which refers to the 'trainers'forum. There they can read about the trainers and their special skills and onlinetimes.
And there they can pick the trainer which fits best to their lack of abilities.

That is what the Help/Trainers forum is for.  I know it is scanned frequently by members of AH and questions are typically answered very promptly.

As for Trainers, you can email the Aces High Trainer Corps at trainers@flyaceshigh.com if you are seeking some help.  If you can give an idea of when you are available (dates/times) and the type of help you are looking for, then someone will typically arrange a time to meet with you.  You can also drop by the training arena and look for a member of the Trainer Corps who are often in there.

There are trainers in AH?

- How do you recognize an official trainer as one?
- How many hours of training does the whole AH training staff do on an average week?
- How many emails do you get to that address?

(just trying to get the picture. In WB i remember there beeing around 5 players in the training arena when it was training hour - that's about 10% of those in the main....)

The trainers show up as another color in the Training Arena, in the chat box.

As to the forums, most guys have no clue they are here till we point them in that direction. Some don't find them for months.

If you really want to help pop into the TA when there are 10 or so in there.
Field a few questions, do some 1 on 1, etc. Just remember to read & follow rules, set a good example.

CCVI currently we have about 7 active trainers.

As to how many hours, thats a good question. It varies considerably depending on the individuals involved & the #'s in the TA. At peak I've been known to average 1 to 3 hours a day in there when demand is high.

On Emails, its been fairly slow, I ussually get 1 or 2 a week to my priv email plus one or more a week on the trainers email.
