Short and too the point, I like your style.

Btw, its the boston. WAY to wide, gun would be more useful with the ability to chuck it over board with the current limits.

BTW, in case you all havent tryed it use the ruder to bank the plane and force them to turn into you most of the time you can get good shot's at them this way from the Boston/A20 .

Yeah, but most of the time on the boston you can only get 1 gun to fire. 1 .30 cal isn't enough.

The a20 however can fire upto a few millimeters from the v-stab.

And ventrals are useless for the most part, look at the TBM.

I posted about this before.

When HTC introduced the interuptor to stop guns  firing whilst pointed at the tail they seem to have gone overboard on some planes. The boston is the biggest offender but i think all could do with a tweak.

the gun stops firing long before its pointed at a tail surface. The gun is next to useless vrs any direct 6oc attack.

Well I dont fly in the MA anymore, But I use the Boston a lot in the CT and in the Histrical plane set's I do prety good with the 30cal's in Boston aganst Zero's and 109E's.

I beleave that the Ventral gun on the A20 is a 50 Cal, I may be mistaken though, it may be a 30cal, the TBM is a 30 cal in the ventral, but it is a diferent beast all together. Most of the guys who get me in the Boston/A20 do so from below the covered arc of the to position a ventral gun would realy help.

Ben, I've downed a few aircraft in the MA with the TBM ventral turret...much easier, IMO, then the unbelievable limits of the upper turret. Have to turn like 30 degrees away from the v stab for the guns to even start firing again...

Agreed. Ever fly the IL-2? I wont be anywhere near the v-stab and it stops firing. Guns even do this when aiming above the v-stab, in some situations!

You should get them pics to Superfly( of the A-20 ventral guns), he said its not a condition of the guns being there, its just he needs a pic of the ventral guns so he knows what they look like, said he spend good deal of time tryin to find one, so im sure hed like to see those.
