Whats a Mitsu?
« on: November 13, 1999, 12:11:00 AM »
Wow- First off lemme say-The pilot quality in AH has all of a sudden gone BOOM!This is very good news indeed-I for 1 would rather die to a better pilot than ditch/disengage (which I see far to often)than get a cheap kill(score boost)as i see is the prevalent attitude in AH Beta at present. Now then , Mitsu (salute ) Ive not had tables turned on me so quickly in a long time . I ve a need to 1 vs 1 you to do some learnin! You do some FINE flying and Ive come to see the only wauy to improve is to  accept combat with your superiors- I suggest to all -tis better to stray from safety of friends/field ack and die in the process of becoming better pilots! Far too much score minding? horde mentality for my taste.Break free-grow-learn damn the score-come over to the dark side ! Myself( and many better) are eager to learn and grow with you . Remember, your death in AH is only virtual-put your ego aside and take this opportunity to grow!  Hope to see the brave soon-Salute Mitsu! err...does spelling count?

In my experience Mitsu and Ypsilon are two of the best pilots in the game. When you see Mitsu and his trusty spit, you better be in the advantage or you will die soon. You will never see Ypsilon coming....

If your in range, so is the enemy.

Hey Sorrow...
You are forgetting most important dangerous pilots.

it's Garner and 1999. <S>
Their Maneuver is greater than me. :-)

If you see high alt Spitty, be careful!
it may be Mitsu or Garner or 1999...

thx

Have you seen his brother, Bishi?

All joking aside, all mentioned are great pilots. I've enjoyed pouring over the score stat pages (something I've never done in other sims), and those names keep popping up.

BTW, if you guys want to see the way scores ought to be done, look over at the page. Great stuff! I like to keep track of k/d and gunnery (that's what matters to me personally!) and it's easy on this set up.

I'd like to add a name.... Pirado...... he didnt have to disengage cause once he engaged it was moments beofre the other pilots death.... I only seen death of Pirado ONCE! he is not flying lately as I believe he is on vacation or something like that.

LOL  <S> Mitsu

Actually I did shoot down Mitsu once, being the low life sniper that I am.

You guys got it right, the only way to get better is to fight better pilots. Coming from Fighter Ace arcade I had to learn how to deal with flying all over again. My stall fighting techniques have improved quite alot but still need more work. And thank you Mitsu for those dogfights, which are always fun and for the most part a true chess match.

Another thing I do is try to engage 2-3 fighters at once to improve my SA, usually get 1 of ya and wing another before I get scratched and augered. BTW, I have not had this much fun flying a sim EVER and also wanted to say you guys are the greatest.
