yes to b24 but no to b29

I also would prefer to see an axis heavy bomber , be it German italian or japanese.Anything basically that carries around 5000 lb or more and has good defensive armament.

I say yes to the b24 because this was the most widely used of all heavies and it being missing from the planeset is rather strange really.

As much as I love the P. 108, it was a realy great plane, Id rather see a Z 1007 for Italy simply because The P 108 saw such limited service, and the Z 1007 was in use in prety much every theater the Italians had planes in in WW2.

 I'd totaly go for a TU-2!

Pass on the He 111, for the same reasion I'd pass on the Halaifax( althought I love it) and the B-24, we have a great Brit Heavy and great US heavy and a Great Early war German Buff, so i would rather see the production time spent else whear at present.

The He 177 would rock hard though.

And a Bomber Mossie would be easy to do and require litle production time compared to the totaly new planes, so ya.:)

But the Beastyist of the all would be the  Emily:)

Seeing B24 would be nice in AHII, but B29 is way too big and too powerful.

Ya they would rock, but I think you would get more bang for your buck with a He 177.

I tend to look at these debates whear we have a limited amount of hours to spend and with those hours we can only get XXX number of things done by XX day and then we will have to wait untill 6 months or more after that before we get anything else, so bearing that in mind I try and think of whats going to bring the most to the table, and the He 177 is clearly the better choice for a German Heavy.

 But.... I would rather see a TU-2( or a Pe-2), a Z 1007, or an Emily than a He 177 ( or any other German Buff).

I gues what I am geting at is the Russian/Italians nead a Buff type first then the Japanese ( Emily or a CV Strike plane Juddy,Jill,Grace), then Germany, to help fill out their plane set's, The realy cool thing is that many of these types would be competive in the MA and also realy help out in the CT and SEA.

i would really like to see the 24 and 29 as i fly buffs alot. saying the 29 is too powerful is like saying the 262 is too fast. they were used in the war so having them in here would be good.

however

the other countries are POORLY represented in the heavy bomber catagory. i would much rather see some of these other planes which have been talked about in this thread. as much as i want to fly 24s and 29s, a more well rounded plane roster would make the game more fun.

however

people squeaked a long time to get a stuka. it is rarely seen in the ma. i fly it though, she is my favorite cv killer.
