looks pretty good for CGI, from the show I saw on scifi.
always liked the green guy as a kid.
I hope they pull off the inner struggle thing instead of focusing on all effects...

I'm just glad it isn't ben aflaaaaak

Did the Universal Studios Hollywood thing yesterday. Everything mentioned in the tour, and everywhere you look there was this big green guy. I always wonder about a movie that requires that much hype.

as Shrek would say... do ya think they're compensating for something?

Both of my sons saw it today. Youngest said he liked it a lot, more than Spiderman. Didn't talk to oldest about it.

My wife just saw it and said it was pretty good, but slow in parts.  She has a pretty good taste usually by my standards, so I'm gonna see it.

It was actually pretty good.  It took a bit long to develop, but it handled everything really well.  The story was well thought out.

The only really annoying thing was the director's over use of moving cameras.  I don't believe he had a single stationary camera in the whole film.

An odd thing about the movie is how quiet it was.  Very somber in most scenes.

Of course, The Hulk scenes kicked ass.  Some excellent graphics work done there.

Oh.. and Jennifer... mmmmmmm...

How could it top the Daredevil, or Spiderman?

Those were like Raging Bull, Casino, Goodfellas, Fargo, Scarface, Spinal Tap, and The Outlaw Josey Wales all in one.

But with comic book heros and a crappy plot. Filmed bad, and boring kinda.

(Can you say crappy in the filter?)

I saw it last night and liked it, but there were a few slow parts.  I think a lot of the dad stuff & dogs could have been edited out, but I really liked the very end.

That shouldn't spoil anything for those of y'all who haven't seen it.

Just got back from seeing it, I thought it was done really well ... and I went into it expecting it to suck.  Good character development and they do the inner struggle stuff very well, with a little bit of symbolism thrown in.  The Hulk CGI was incredible...his movement was very good and believable and his face was done very well and really reflects the actor's face.  The camera stuff was very distracting at first, but after the first 15 mins, I got used to it and appreciated the comic book / marvel cartoon feel it gave the movie.  Jennifer Conelly is still and will always be incredibly hot.

All in all, I'd say this movie was geektastic!

MiniD given some of the movies you have in your DVD collection, I don't know if I can trust your opinions on any movie.  ;)

and SOB...  aren't you the one that likes those japanese guys running around with the fig leaves???   you probably just liked the hulk because his green body reminded you of the fig leaves!
