Actually, if I remember correctly from a long long time ago, I think the British coined the term "Sitzkreig" to designate the long stalemate along the western front prior to the Ardennes offensive. I think another term was "The Phoney War".

I guess I was un-intentionally punny. heee hee

It's not 'kreig' you bunch of linguistically challanged morons :-D it's 'krieg', the German word for war.
