My JU88 on torpedo run was shot down by the CV's main guns once. Saw the HUGE trio of shells streak into my noggin' and out my tail gunner's retinas.

not quite the same but i saw the ship shell from my own fleet go right past my cockpit. Well at least i saw a thing that looked like a huge shell, thought what the hell was that then looking to see where it landed and noticed the lines from CV guns.

Musta been the shell and if that happened in real life id hope my flying uniform was of the brown trouser variety

Lost 262's too CV ack several times in AH, pretty unlucky

Even worse is to lose them to friendly 88's
