For the month of July, 2003;

Swoopy is king of the hill!

This momentous determiniation was made over 11 rounds flown through 3 hours, during which the following had brief, cherry blossom like flashes of fame:

11 Spit I Swoopy

Some genuinely epic fights, especialy later in the event when the clouds started drifting into play.

WTG all participants, this is definately one of AH's most fun events, and WTG Swoopy,

Any chance of posting a reminder to those of us that can't remember the date of the KOTH? MOTD the day of in the MA would work, or a post in the General Discussion's forum. Anyhow, wtfg Swoopy, wish I was there to contribute to your success:p

Skuzzy does try to put most events in the MOTD in the MA, but occasionally some get missed or not posted in time; there are, however, other methods of advertising used - my weekly Special Events Announcements post always mentions both KOTHs, they are always on the official Calendar (click the calendar button at the top of this page) and last, but not least, there is my Events Calendar which has both KOTHs on/

I will mail you a few days in advance... Incidentally, it looks like July KOTH will run on August 1st. There's really nothing we can do about it, TODs are being pushed back a week because of the 4th of July holiday... We'll have 1st and last Friday in August to get back on track.
