MA: Locating Person Question
« on: June 27, 2003, 07:19:37 PM »
I know in the MA I can find someone from my country by looking at the roster and clicking on goto. How would I do something similar if I wanted to go where Manx, Frenchy or any of the top bish and rook pilots are operating at to get educational butt whipins so I can learn under MA conditions?

I'm not sure if they would want to reveil their locations over channel1 just to satisfy my masochistic tendancies.:D

To the best of my limited knowledge, you can only locate players that are in  the same country as you.  The Best way I know to find someone in my country is make them my wingman   (/.wingman whoever). That command changes their Dot  color on radar, & the Icon when in icon range.
The game once was plaqued by a player with big mouth skills & small stick skills, It was rather easy to find people on his side that were willing to divulge his location, plane type, direction & alt. It sure was fun slapping him down repeatedly.  Funny but I cant even remeber his name now---

Best way to do it is to locate them via the roster and ask over a private channel. Or just blurt out over channel 1 that you want to take on Frenchy, etc... and to get them to give you their location. Lots of guys will help you out that way.

I'm usually the first one into the enemy territory, and then all of my countrymen jump in behind me (like its safer to fly behind me or something).  Just look for the mid-war plane circling the enemy airfield dodging the flak and that'll be me trying to bait you up.

The best way to locate Frenchy is to say "here froggy... heeeere froggy froggy froggy." on channel 1.  The rest are a little more difficult, but if you dig a bit, I'm sure you could find something equally annoying to substitute for froggy.

MiniD, I case no one has told you in a while, you sir are the south side of a north bound horse.

The word frog when used to describe someone French is an insult and I don't think Frenchy deserves that.

You on the other hand seem to continue to add fuel to your reputation.

I ask you to please, STFU
and thank you
