Its just a beta.
I once complained to HT about the alt f4,ing. ( If he wasted his time reading my BOOM thread, im sure it gave him a chuckel).
I was P O,ed at the time because i had clearly blown the wing off a con for nothing.
Then I got to thinking about how many times I have ditched without a wing (many). and I started to count tho other things that go wrong. I am good for at least two game
lockups a night. Also, due to ISP problems I average 9 or 10 dumps to desktop a night. Then theres the odd message system that doesnt report your kills if you die before the other guy does.
I haave no doubt that by the time this game comes out of beta all of these things, except the message will be fixed. I think the message deal is to try to discourage HO,s.
Creating hard feelings with other pilots, over somethimg that you have no way of knowing that there guilty of, is probably a bad Idea at this point.
A beta score means less than nothing. For example, I nose dived from 6th down to where ever I am now, the day the Stick stirring solution began. For all I know my stick was giving me some unfair advantage before, that I was not even aware of. Anyway, if you really do force someone to alt f4. they have to go to all the hassell of getting back in the game, that should be more satisfying than a simple kill
