I'd have to go with an M-18 hellcat

possibly the modidied M-18 with the 105MM howitzer, but the barrel looks wrong

Yup, it's an M-18 Hellcat alright, considered by many as the best Tank Destroyer of the war. The Germans were absolutely terrified by them. 76mm with HVAP ammo, 65 mph road speed!!!

ya that's why I looked at the modified version ( barrel looked too short, must be a perspective), so I thought possible the 105MM assault gun version. but it is indeed the standard version.

and notice in Brady's pic, it looks like they have a .30 call pintle gun as well as the .50

Ya it was now it's back up, it goes down once in a while, but never for very long.
