i dunno, i've found the 205 to be fairly easy targets, even with much less-maneuverable planes.  with a couple of (lucky) exceptions, all my engagements with them have wound up the same way:
initial head-on pass
205 uses its superior turn rate to get
  in my elbow (but it's now dangerously low
  on e)
i initiate scissors
either (most of the time):
  205 stalls--if too low (usually) it
    crashes
or:
  pilot, wary of a stall in a plane that's
    suddenly acting like a lazy recalcitrant
    dog, presents me with an easy target.
i fly a 109 mostly, which is passible but not steller at scissoring.
also, if you keep above a 205 the plane is mostly helpless.
maybe i'm completely wrong, but those are my observations.
