Has anyone heard whether they will have an expanded DVD version of the Two Towers, lke they did with FOTR.

Although that diverted from the book so much I can't imagine what they would add.

I'd rather own them than rent them.  I pay about $8 average more per DvD to own it.  I don't watch any TV these days... I just pop one movie in about every other night.  My wife reads.  I suppose there's other things out there that people pay more to collect and use less.

As for what Rip does / doesn't do I don't know.  I do find it ironic that someone that spends so much time posting on the forums calls other people pasty.  Watch out rip... if you get too tan someone's gonna want to deport you.

Yes... a good place to look at upcoming releases is DvD Jornal.  They have an upcoming releases section.  The LOR films are listed there... "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (widescreen) (2-disc set)" August 6th and "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers: Special Extended DVD Edition (4-disc set)" on November 18th.

Since it's true confessions time (Rip admitting to calling someone a nazi as well as being one?? :p  )  there is one movie that I've rented so many times that I would have saved money buying it.

Don't make me list the percentage of CF's on your list MiniD. Cause I'm just bored enough at work today to do it mister!

Go for it MT.  Then I can counter with the % of house occupants that are chicks.  It will make my ratio look huge.  And, according to arfann, that's what this is all about.

Nothing against the "Great White North", but no. And there are actually two movies I should own, "Blazing Saddles" and "The Meaning of Life". Pick up new stuff everytime I watch 'em.

Been trying to find "The Meaning of Life" on DvD... that's pretty tough.  They only had a limited special edition release.  Can't bring myself to pay $50 for a single DvD.

Just checked... Meaning of Life is due for re-release in September.

BTW... I've watched Blazing Saddles about 20 times too.
