My DvD collection

Got Punch Drunk love this month and loved it.  I've been searching more for some of the older series that are finally being released on DvD.  Gonna get Scrubs, DS9 and a few others when I find them for a decent price.  Not alot of decent movies coming out these days.

MiniD...you were MrHanky too?  I just noticed the reference in the address on that link.

MrHanky was the handle that made me chuckle everytime I saw it when online...why did you change it?

If you liked Punch Drunk Love you'll probably also really like the other two movies written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson ( <----- incredible).

On the off off chance you haven't already seen them Mini, look into Magnolia and Boogie Nights. There's a package deal on those two movies at Amazon right now:

Why Buy?

Not meaning to flame anyone, but why buy movies? I know people who have racks and racks of movies and, for the most part, never watch them more than once. Do some of you actually watch them over and over, or is it a "pride of ownership" thing?

Its a "Pasty white Skin Guy" thing where you get no excercise, and your donut has pimples on it from sitting and watching too much tv.  First one to a heart attack wins, and you get bonus Cholesterol and high blood pressure if you also call people Nazi's on the net and then try to defend yourself. :D

Wow...that has to be one of the stupidest links I have ever seen Rip.  Is that how you really feel about Deja or are you just trying to sweet talk him?  You two should just make out and get it over with.

By the way, anyone else reading this thread...I wouldnt open that link if you are at work.  It would be nice if Rip would at least give a warning before he does something like that.

Ooh, add me to the pimply-ass club!  As long as I'm never caught spending hours waxing my car and showing it more love than my children I'll be OK.

Arf- Why buy movies?  I like 'um, and I do watch them more than once.  Also, most DVDs have a lot more on them than just the movie.  If I find that I'm just not watching a movie at all or don't care to own it any more, off to ebay it goes.
