Bored with the MA? Tired of the same old thing? Have I got something different for you.

Puck is back, waving the rubber chicken and bellowing incomprehensable and inconsistant orders from the flag bridge of the USS Neverdock somewhere in the South Pacific.

We need squid...er...squads with discipline, nerves of steel, and balls of brass to crush the Imperial Japanese Navy.

Walk ons are always welcome, but squads get specific goals and are able to use their own initiative to complete them, acting as squads within the overall framework of the battle plan (crush the enemy, see him driven before you, hear the lamentations of the sheep).

If there are any interested squads please contact Admiral Puck (I know a few chiefs who just suffered prolapsed bowels thinking about that) as soon as possible!

As a matter of fact we have F4U-1s available at one of our USMC bases. These are, easily, my favorite F4U's; fast, long range, kidney crushing acceleration and brain-brusing climb rate.

Is this the alternate reality CAP ongoing scenario?

I know VF-17 was sort of an "anomoly" (Navy squadron flying F4Us off of shore bases like the Marines) but ... I'd dearly give my eye teeth for a slot like that.

Yes, well. On November 10th, 1775 the continental congress rewarded the navy (for having remined sober for three consecutive days) by giving them a semi-intelligent pet. The Marines have been part of the Navy ever since...

Having never served in the Gator Navy how well do the Navy crews and Marines actually get along? I'm just curious, given all the trash talk that goes on everywhere else.

I dated one hot lookin' bam at NAS Memphis.
